Hi! I'm Ishaan.
Third year at the University of Virginia, passionate about the intersection of data, healthcare, and finance.
I’m a third-year undergrad studying Statistics and Economics at the University of Virginia, pursuing medicine post-graduation. The common denominator across my interests: making healthcare work for people. Whether it’s genomic sequences or financial outcomes, I’m interested in leveraging data to make care accessible and affordable.
Other than that, I'm a Virginia native, huge Baltimore Ravens fan, and occasional photographer.
Getting into data science is intimidating, especially for non-CS folks – these Medium articles provide a starting point on all sorts of topics, from visualization to artificial intelligence.
Most of my coding projects are open-sourced on GitHub, you'll find anything from coronavirus case models to introductory guides to nonparametric statistics.
